Manufacturers of the highest quality British-made tools for the Artist-craftsman Blacksmith, Wrought iron worker, Farrier, Student of forge work, and all Industrial Blacksmiths.

The working of iron was one of the first crafts to be mastered by Man and was introduced into Britain by the Celts in 500 BC.
Since this time metal has been forged and shaped into weapons, agricultural implements and, above all: decorative ornaments.
The British yeoman over hundreds of years has employed the medium of forgework and developed his craftsmanship to such a degree that he can truly be called an artisan.
In this day and age his work bears witness to the glorious history and traditions of this Country, work that can never be produced by machine, as no machine has been created that can lavish the care and attention or the dedicated skills on Blacksmithing as passed on from father to son.
Today British Forges still employ the traditional methods of forgework linked with the use of traditional tools for which there is no substitute.
GLENDALE FORGE, set in the heart of the Essex Countryside in England, make a comprehensive range of Blacksmiths' Tools and Equipment unsurpassed for quality and design, as the following pages will show, and maintain a skill our grandfathers would have been proud to call their own.
